The new art gallery JAN SVATOŠ in Kostelec nad Černými lesy would be ceremoniously opened on Saturday, September 18, 2010 in the presence and under the auspices of the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Mrs. Miroslava Němcová.

Dear friends,

We would like to inform you that the results of the Dubí Mug Symposium were presented on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 4 pm . The program included a pleasant Jazz Concert performed by Eduard Kuhn (saxophone) and Jiří Šlupka Svěrák (keyboards and vocals).

The tradition of the Dubí Mug Symposium dates back to 1989, and since then hundreds of new designs of shapes and designs of ceramic mugs have been created here. This event is attended not only by top authors from the Czech Republic, but also authors from abroad. The essence of the symposium is to create a new applied art, which will mostly end up in the depository of the Dubí porcelain factory, and it is so a pity that they will never get to the exhibition space, where they would be available for viewing by the general public.

However, this year we have decided to present at least part of the work and as of July 5, 2015, they will be available in our gallery for viewing and some for sale . The opening of this exhibition took place on Sunday, July 26, 2015, which included a Jazz Concert. In short: art and music in the Jan Svatoš Gallery = there is no mistake 🙂

The opening of the “Dwarf and Artists” exhibition took place on Saturday, May 21, 2016. The exhibition will run until October 30, 2016 . This year we have prepared a really delicacy for you. You can see for yourself how 40 respected and renowned artists have dealt with the theme of “Dwarf”. You will definitely see a lot of interesting ideas and ideas.

We would like to invite you and the general public to the Birds in the Garden exhibition and the Miroslav Oliva exhibition.

The opening of both exhibitions took place on Saturday 20. May 2017 at 14:00

Eva Roučka calligraphically flipped the “bird” poster and Mirka Oliva most of you know. But you definitely don’t know his completely new work. Together we can also look forward to an exhibition in the garden. 40 artists has been thinking about Birds in the Garden again this year, and it certainly won’t be boring. We are glad that we will be able to listen to amazing jazz and hunger this year as well, and no one will die of thirst. Now just order the beautiful weather. We believe that we will spend a nice afternoon together in the gallery and in the garden.

Dear friends,
this year, too, the weather really wished us during our meeting in the gallery at the opening on May 12, 2018.
I am very happy that I was able to welcome a painter, sculptor, potter, a native of Kostelec with deep family church roots, Mr. Zdenek Hůla. We were happy to celebrate his 70th birthday with him and he left us and throughout the summer he still gives us an insight into his current and past work. There are two beautiful statues in the garden, actually levitating stones. Unusual connection of granite and glass.

Various playful artifacts await you in the upper gallery and especially in the garden. Can you even remember how long you haven’t played balls or jumped a shot?

We were greeted at the opening by Bigband – Bendík, composed of enthusiastic “young people”, pupils and students of the Music School of the Capital City of Prague. Their energy was amazing and contributed greatly to the relaxed atmosphere of our meeting.

However, nothing is lost, even if you could not come to our opening. As I have already written, the exhibition will last until October 28, 2018.

And I have one more novelty for you. The circle is also the basic shape for the hat, so we decided to hold a small parade of hats.

Dear friends and art lovers,

Thank you for a pleasant, albeit rainy, afternoon in our garden and gallery at the opening of Hana Exnarová’s author’s exhibition. At the same time, the opening of the “Quadro” exhibition took place, which was attended by potters, glassmakers and jewelers who were to deal with the theme of the square. As a surprise, the so-called “Hybohledy” created by Pavel Macek were prepared for you.

A pleasant afternoon in the garden was accompanied by music performed by Jiří Šlupka Svěrák and Eduard Kuhn.

The opening of the exhibition took place on Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 2:00 PM.

Dear friends and visitors of our gallery,

After much hesitation and waiting for the news to arrive, we decided to move the EYE EVE opening to 5. June 2021, of course at 2 p.m. . However, the exhibition will be installed and accessible from May 23, 2021.

We are diligently preparing and we are very much looking forward not only to the creations of Eva’s friends, cuttings and wreaths, but also to Jana Koubková, who should sing for us on the theme of the exhibited statues of Eva during a walk through the garden.

Jana Koubková will come to sing the statues for us. Ondra Kabrna will play the accordion.

let us thank you for your abundant participation in the vernissage 2022 Year of Glass, the exhibition will last until the end of this season.

The opening took place on Saturday, June 11, 2022 in nice sunny weather.

During the preparation of the exhibition, we collaborated with the design glass studio BYSTRO DESIGN and their “glass” friends. They should present themselves mainly in the barn and you will find some beautiful works of art in our garden. We will definitely enjoy the new ceramic objects in the garden.
